Nawazuddin Siddiqui has always flown high with his extraordinary performances. His role as Gaitonde in the Netflix original series ‘Sacred Games’ (2018) has become an iconic character, which fans have appreciated across the world. He’s now about to delve into an international film.
Reportedly, having completed the shooting for the season two of the show, Siddiqui will also be co-producing the film along with the Bangladeshi filmmaker, Mostofa Sarwar Farooki. The film is said to be an adaptation of the popular book ‘No Land’s Man’, which tells the story of a South Asian man whose life takes a tragic turn when he meets an Australian girl in America.
The actor talking about joining the film and collaborating with the Bangladeshi filmmaker in an exclusive interview with Variety. “The script explores today’s strange world, with strong humor, satire, and emotion. I felt compelled to be associated with the project in more than just the capacity of an actor, as I thought this is that kind of film which really needs to be made,” said Siddiqui.
Sharing the good news with his fans, Siddiqui posted a picture of himself and wrote, “The most coveted script ‘No Land’s Man’ is finally going to be made into a film. Thank you Mostofa Sarwar Farooki for the opportunity. Looking forward.”
