Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s ‘Manjhi – The Mountain Man’ film leaked online pre-release

In disheartening news for Ketan Mehta, his next film ‘Manjhi – The Mountain Man’ starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Radhika Apte has been leaked online even before its release at cinemas.

The film, which is scheduled to hit theatres on 21st August, has already been in a legal battle over the release of the film. A source told Mid-Day, ���Those who have seen it on film sharing websites say that print is clear and cannot be a pirated copy. In fact, it has the proper censor certificate attached to it. The 2:01 hour long footage has gone viral, but no one knows who has uploaded it online. It could be someone from the team itself.�۝

Mehta added that he had not seen the leaked version but said the copy will pulled off from the illegal websites. ���I was on a tour when I got calls from my friends and a few crew members. It was surprising that the film has been leaked days prior to its release. It is a major setback for us. We are trying to pull the online copy down as soon as possible. Once we find the source of leak, we will take appropriate action against the person,�۝ he adds.
