Nawazuddin Siddiqui to take ‘Phobia’ forward with series

Radhika Apte starrer ‘Phobia’ (2016) received good critical acclaim, where her performance as an artist with agoraphobia was much appreciated. The makers of the film have decided to cash in on it, making it a series, in which Nawazuddin Siddiqui will take the story forward.

According to Box Office India, director Pawan Kripalani spent last year doing research for the second script, and it is now ready for Siddiqui to star in. Producer Viki Rajani did confirm the casting, saying, “Yes, we were working on the script and now it’s taking final shape. The film will start rolling by the end of this year and will release next year. It will be interesting to work with Nawazuddin Siddiqui.”

Meanwhile, Apte was last seen in ‘PadMan’ (2018).
