Already having had a taste of online web viewing success with ‘Sacred Games’ (2018), Nawazuddin Siddiqui has now signed a second Netflix series, which is set to be an adaptation of author Manu Joseph’s book ‘Serious Men’. Set to be helmed by film maker Sudhir Mishra, the actor spoke to the media expressing how he is looking forward to the project.
“I am very excited to be a part of ‘Serious Men’ and work with a creative mind like Sudhir Mishra. This is my second stint with Netflix after ‘Sacred Games’,” The New Indian Express reports Siddiqui stating.
He went on to add, “I hope that people give Ayyan Mani (from ‘Serious Men’) the same love that they extended to Ganesh Gaitonde(from ‘Sacred Games’) For now, I am eagerly awaiting the release of ‘Sacred Games 2’ and can’t wait to see the audience’s reaction.”
‘Serious Men’ tells the story of a father from the slum, conning the entire country in thinking his son is a genius, however only to later find that he’s doing more damage to his son than he anticipated.
