Nawazuddin Siddiqui is one actor who has quietly made his way to the top of the success ladder. However, if the latest news is anything to go by, he is proving that his job is all about the work rather then just a big pay cheque.
According to the DNA India, Siddiqui who has been signed to play the lead in Balasaheb Thackeray biopic, will receive a smaller wage. According to sources, this isn’t the first time the actor has chosen work over money. “He has slashed his fees a lot more for the Manto biopic. Even for ‘Babumoshai Bandookbaaz’ (2017), which he promoted very aggressively, he hardly charged a fraction of his fees.”
The report goes on to add, that apparently cutting his wage in order to give his projects more marketing is something of the norm for the actor. And with the applause he receives in every performance, it just goes to show that it’s all about the talent.
