Navjot Singh Sidhu still a part of ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’

When Navjot Singh Sidhu made a rather inappropriate joke during ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ earlier this month, his absence the following week led to speculation about his future on the show.

As DNA India reports, Sidhu’s joked about a certain politician having his zipper open caused a stir with the co-hosts and producers, especially as Sidhu is a politician himself. However, the reason for Sidhu not showing up for the episode after, was apparently due to other commitments. “Sidhuji didn’t show up for the episode we shot with Sonakshi Sinha this weekend. I think he is finding it hard to maintain his travel schedule while attending to his new responsibilities as a State Minister,” a source revealed.

Talking about the reaction of Sidhu’s comment, the source expressed, “This is not the kind of humour that a respected politician, parliamentarian and State Minister should be heard having on television. Everyone was shocked by Sidhuji’s sudden swerve into sleaze. Even Kapil who is known for his clean humour was embarrassed.”
