The last time we saw Madhuri Dixit and Naseeruddin Shah share the screen together was in ��Gaja Gamini�۪ (2000). However, news has it that the actors are due to come together again, this time playing the role of con-artists.
Times of India report that director Abhishek Choubey has signed the pair for his next venture in ��Dedh Ishqiya�۪. Shah��comments, ���It’s a really funny script. I am very happy to get to work with Madhuri. Whatever work we’ve done together so far has been very sketchy.”
He goes on to say that although��they have not worked��in close proximity with each other, he��reflects upon the few films��which they both starred in,�ʉ��Madhuri and I have worked together in Rajkumar which was not so nice. And then we did (laughs) Gaja Gamini together. Maybe you should ask Madhuri what��Gaja Gamini��was all about. I still haven’t been able to figure it out. We also did Tridev before these two films although we didn’t have any work together in the film…�
Shah and Dixit�۪s involvement in the film will see them playing against each other in a war to outdo one another. With the huge success of ��Ishqiya�۪ (2011) and a great star cast already in line, this film is��one to look out for.
