Nargis Fakhri talks about kissing scene with Emraan Hashmi

The forthcoming ‘Azhar’ will see Emraan Hashmi share the screen with Nargis Fakhri for the first time. As Hashmi is known for his “serial kisser” tag, it is expected that he would have a kissing scene with either Fakhri or Prachi Desai who is also in the film. Fakhri has recently divulged about the liplock.

During a romantic song sequence, there was indeed such a scene as Fakhri recalls. She told Mumbai Mirror, “I probably didn’t enjoy filming the song as much as he did. Lots of kissing happened… In fact, there was so much of it that at one point I wasn’t sure if they were retakes, a part of the song, or someone playing a prank on me”.

Fakhri plays Sangeeta Bijlani in the film who was married to cricketer Mohammed Azharuddin. Talking about the role and her look, she revealed, “I see her as a statuesque model-actress and a fashion icon. I have been associated with the fashion business but we are completely different personalities”.

She comically also said, “The styling was fun. But I wouldn’t take the clothes home because we’re in the 21st century. That would be a major faux pas”.

‘Azhar’ is slated for release in May and also stars Gautam Gulati and Lara Dutta.
