Nargis Fakhri opens up about her relationship with Uday Chopra

It had always been speculated whether Nargis Fakhri and Uday Chopra were dating at the time and whenever the question came up the pair tended to deny they were in a relationship. But now, Fakhri has confessed that they were seeing each other.

Reported on Hindustan Times, the ‘Rockstar’ (2011) actor recently revealed all in an interview with a daily and shared that the pair had been dating for five years and now looking back she wished she never kept this fact hidden, “Uday and I dated for 5 years and he was the most beautiful human I met in India. I never have said this to the press as people told me to keep my relationship quiet, but I regret that because I should have shouted from the mountain tops that I was with such a beautiful soul. The internet and social media is very fake and the people out there won’t know what the truth is. Most often we idolise certain people who are actually bad behind closed doors.”

After the split, Fakhri returned back to New York and rumours suggested it was due to heartbreak, though her spokesperson said at the time it was because of health reasons following a busy schedule of back-to-back films.

Recently Fakhri had been dating American chef, Justin Santos, but the two have since broken up.
