With her forthcoming film ‘Banjo’ gearing up for release, it’s fair to say that Nargis Fakhri has done rather well for herself since her debut in Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Rockstar’ (2011). However it wasn’t all plain sailing for the actress.

Whilst talking to the media, the actress expressed how hard it was for her after her debut. “I really didn۪t know that what I was doing at that point of time. People took me from my happy place in Copenhagen, put me in the bubble, made the film in three years and then kicked me to the curb and never spoke to me again. I don۪t know where they are and what they are doing unless I read the newspapers,”Asian Age reported Fakhri expressing.

She went on to add, “I did ‘Rockstar’ thinking it would be fun. I am someone who takes chances for new experiences. I am always excited to travel to a new country or to learn a new language. After the film, though, I questioned myself because I was completely alone.”

Well, it’s sure to say that Fakhri is definitely on everyone’s radar. Directed by Ravi Jadhav, ‘Banjo’ will also star Riteish Deshmukh and is set for release on 23rd September.
