Nargis Fakhri on the broken bond with Ranbir Kapoor & Imtiaz Ali

During the promotions of her debut film ‘Rockstar’ (2011), Nargis Fakhri’s bond with director Imtiaz Ali and co-star Ranbir Kapoor was evident to all. ��In fact, there were even rumours romantically linking Fakhri to Kapoor. ��However, post the release of the film the friendships seem to have ended��and Fakhri has now gone on record to talk about the same.

On Niranjan Iyengar’s chat show, which aired on Zing this gone weekend, Fakhri said, “I thought I did (share a bond with Ali and Kapoor) but apparently everyone builds a bond and then when the film is over, they disappear, so that was a harsh reality. ��I don’t speak to anyone… You would think that if someone brings you over and that you’re new to the place, they would be like, ‘Hey, how you doing? Are you okay? Still alive?’ but no, so that was a harsh reality, so you learn.”

When asked if perhaps the negative feedback to her performance led to the broken bond with both the director and actor, the actress added, “That ain’t my fault… I would never want anyone in my life if that’s what determines a friendship because that’s just fake… I would rather talk to a wall than have a friendship like that.”

It can be noted that while Fakhri may not be on talking terms with Ranbir Kapoor and Imtiaz Ali, Kapoor and Ali��are once again reuniting after ‘Rockstar’ for their upcoming film ‘Tamasha’.
