Nargis Fakhri bags her next film

After her unceremonious ouster from the Akshay Kumar Starrer ‘Khiladi 786’ (2012) Nargis Fakhri has finally bagged her second film.

The ‘Rockstar’ (2011) beauty will be seen in Rajshri Ojha’s next. Ojha is the same director who adapted Jane Austen’s ‘Emma’ in the form of ‘Aisha’ (2010) starring Abhay Deol and Sonam Kapoor.

Both the director and actress have had bitter experiences after the release of their respective films.

Fakhri was dropped by producers of ‘Khiladi 786’ because she didn’t look convincing enough to play Mithun Chakraborty’s sister in the film, She was subsequently replaced by Asin.

Ojha on the other hand had a fallout with producer Anil Kapoor after she cried foul because she was forced to make changes to the script in ‘Aisha’ which she felt hindered her filmmaking process.

Here’s hoping it’s second time lucky for both Nargis and Rajshri.
