Nargis Fakhri avoids question on Uday Chopra

Nargis Fakhri has recently made headlines suggesting that she’d left Indian post her break-up with alleged boyfriend Uday Chopra. Although she denied any truth to this, in a recent press interaction, she is believed to have avoided a question on Chopra.

During the trailer launch of her next film ‘Banjo’, Fakhri was asked about the apparent split. Her co-star Riteish Deshmukh attempted to come to her rescue. He’s quoted by Hindustan Times, “Are you kidding me? I am her spokesperson I�۪ll answer this question”.

When the reporter prodded Fakhri further, she is believed to have said, “Your question is irrelevant, so it�۪s quite sad. I don�۪t think you should continue.”

When asked why she was out of India for almost three months and on her return why she appeared to want to keep out of the way of cameras, Fakhri said, “Actually when I travel I wear a hoodie and a scarf all the time, because a lot of people are sick on the airplane, so, you get sick all the time. I just do like that. That�۪s the way I walk around”.

‘Banjo’ is directed by Ravi Jadhav and is slated for release on 23rd September.
