The ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ is a special award given to those who have achieved great heights within their career. Many well known names have received the award through-out the years, however one actor seems to be rather against the idea of the award.

Nana Patekar was reported stating how he feels that one who has served the society deserve this kind of award and he would never except the award of even offered to him, “Anybody and everybody gets up and forms any organisation and institutes a Lifetime Achievement Award and they also except it.It is not a crime…But I won’t accept it…How can you evaluate my life’s cost as Rs 1 lakh…Rs 5 lakh… Rs 10 lakh,” Times of India reported the actor stating.

Despite this, it would be no surprise if organisations wanted to reward Patekar with such an award. Having been in the film industry for over 30 years, Patekar has performed some of the most memorable and remarkable performances, ‘Parinda’ (1990), Angaar’ (1992) and ‘Apaharan’ (2006).
