Nana Patekar to star in Taapsee Pannu’s Tamil film?

Nana Patekar has signed on for an important role in an upcoming Tamil spy thriller, which also stars Jayam Ravi and Taapsee Pannu in lead roles.

Tentatively titled ‘Jana Gana Mana’, the film is being directed by I Ahmed. While Patekar’s involvement has not been officially confirmed by the makers yet, this will mark his comeback to films after the #MeToo scandal, Pinkvilla reported. The police cleared him of the sexual harassment charges in June stating lack of evidence.

‘Jana Gana Mana’ began shooting in Azerbaijan in August. The movie will release in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. The ensemble cast includes Elnaaz Norouzi, MS Bhaskar and Arjun, among others.
