Nana Patekar keen on directing Deepika Padukone?

The immensely talented Nana Patekar has apparently narrated his film’s script to the beautiful Deepika Padukone and is very keen to have her be a part of the project, BizAsia has come to know.

Padukone went for the narration which was apparently also given to Aditi Rao Hydari. However, according to Deccan Chronicle, Patekar is wanting Padukone on board.

A an insider revealed, “They did meet last month and Deepika was given a narration by Nana. But there were a few doubts that she had regarding the script. We۪re supposed to meet her once again before sealing the deal. Hope things go as planned. Deepika has wanted to break away from the commercial mould and since this is a woman-centric film, she has a lot of scope to do that.”

Let’s hope all goes well and that Padukone can make her transition to a different kind of cinema soon.
