‘Namastey England’ to roll in Amritsar on 22nd February

The upcoming ‘Namastey England’ will be going on the floors this week, BizAsiaLive.com can confirm. The Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra starrer will commence in Amritsar.

Ahmedabad Mirror reports that producer-director Vipul Shah will be marking his first shoot in Amritsar with the film. He said, “From Amritsar, we move to Ludhiana and Patiala. We are filming at more than 75 locations spread across these three cities. Later, we’ll also be shooting in Dhaka, Paris, Brussels and finally in London. That’s how the love story progresses”.

Kapoor and Chopra have been in preparation for a few weeks. Shah promises that the film will present a very different avatar of the duo than has been seen previously, “Both their characters are from Punjab and this is the first time that Arjun and Parineeti will be playing genuine lovers. Away from the camera, they are good friends and are always joking and pranking. There’s a lot of camaraderie and it’s going to be fun working with them”.

The pair were seen together last in 2012’s ‘Ishaqzaade’. They will also be sharing the screen in Yash Raj Films’ ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’.
