Naga Munchetty & Faisal Islam amongst highest paid BBC presenters
BBC presenters Naga Munchetty and Faisal Islam are amongst the highest paid presenters according to the BBC Annual Report published today.
The Annual Report includes a list of the corporation’s highest paid talent paid over £150,000 within the last financial year, a requirement by the BBC charter. BizAsiaLive.com focuses on the highest paid South Asian talent on the BBC during the 2023/24 period.

The report also revealed the large salaries paid to some of its biggest stars, with Gary Lineker once again topping the list on £1.35m a year. BBC Radio 2 presenter Zoe Ball was second most paid with 950,000 a year. Huw Edwards, who left the broadcaster earlier this year was the BBC’s third highest paid star on £475,000 – up £40,000 on last year – but spent most of the year signed off on medical leave.
