Nadeem Saifi was once one half of the much-loved music director duo Nadeem-Shravan. After some legal issues, he is all set to make a comeback with Suneel Darshan’s next. However, he was recently asked about the music of 2013’s ‘Aashiqui 2’, especially as he was the one who composed the album of the original film.

“I think Number 1 will always be Number 1 and Number 2 will always be Number 2. Of course, I would have done it 10 times better. In my personal opinion, the only song which became famous, was a Moroccan song, which they remixed as Tum Hi Ho,” said Saifi in an interview with DNA.

Saifi was asked for clarification on whether he is saying the ever-popular track sung by Arijit Singh was copied to which he replied, “Yes.”

Talking about his estranged music partner Shravan, he added, “Shravan is like my ‘bichda hua bhai.’ I love him very much and I do miss those good days when we worked together. We do speak and wish each other on Diwali, Eid and on our birthdays. I am so happy that I have the same love from people even now, where ever I go.”
