STAR’s ratings grabber ‘Nach Baliye’ is returning in India for a third series next month.

The show promises to return in a much bigger and better avatar by moving channels too. Previously the dance show was aired on STAR One but the magnitude scale of the new series has resulted in channel bosses to move it to flagship service STAR Plus.

Announcing the launch, Ajay Vidyasagar, President, Content and New Media, STAR India Pvt Ltd, said, “With our continued commitment to provide unmatched entertainment to a wider set of audiences, we decided to launch ‘Nach Baliye’ season three on STAR Plus. This year, with its fresh new format and look, we believe that the show will appeal to our viewers cutting across all age groups. In an effort to enhance the weightage of viewers۪ opinions, we have also increased the interactive elements on the show.”

The ten celebrity pairs announced for the competition are Sweta Keswani-Alexx O۪Neil, Karan Patel-Amita Chandekar, Rakhi Sawant-Abhishek Awasthi, Shakti Kapoor-Shivangi Kapoor, Vikas Sethi-Amita Sethi, Karan Grover-Kavita Kaushik, Aamir Ali-Sanjeeda Sheikh, Kashmera Shah-Krushna Abhishek, Kiran Janjani-Ritu Janjani and Pooja Bedi-Hanif Hilal.

In the UK, the channel has not set a launch date for the show due to ongoing negotiations with various parties over “branding issues”. The same has also delayed the UK launch of STAR Plus۪ other successful reality programme – ‘Voice Of India’.
