‘Na Maloom Afraad 2’ set for UK premiere & release this month
Following the box office smash-hit original, this Eid-Ul-Adha cinema-goers will see the sequel – ‘Na Maloom Afraad 2’ (NMA2) arriving to our screens across UK.
The Pakistani comedy-thriller film will have you laughing off the edge of your seats with the critically acclaimed talent of Nabeel Qureshi, the co-writer and director. We’ll see the return of the ensemble cast: Javed Sheikh, Fahad Mustafa, Mohsin Abbas Haider and Urwa Hocane. The movie will also feature Hania Amir in a leading role, as well as Marina Khan making her debut appearance.
Continuing the original plot after a three-year jump, the movie follows the gang’s escapades around Karachi, and Cape Town, South Africa. The original release garnered wide critical praise, earning several awards and nominations and becoming record breakers for longest running film, a total of 165 days.
The UK film premiere is set for 26th August with the release date set for 31st August 2017.
The movie is to be distributed by media sales and marketing agency, Evolution Media Network. Evolution Media Network, which is one of the largest media agencies catering to a South Asian audience runs a slate of TV channels in the UK including A Plus Europe, Urdu1 Europe, UK 44 and SEE TV.
