Music director Shravan Rathod passes away from Covid-19 complications

BizAsiaLive.com confirmed a few days ago that Shravan Rathod – of Nadeem-Shravan fame – was admitted to hospital having contracted Covid-19. Sadly, it’s now been announced that he has passed away.

Indian Express reports Rathod’s son Sanjeev stating, “He passed away tonight. He was not responding to treatment at all. He passed away at the hospital. Please pray for his soul”.

Rathod was in SL Raheja hospital in Mumbai and reportedly had some complications from the virus and was on a ventilator.

Nadeem-Shravan were known for their compositions mainly in the 90s which included popular soundtracks such as ‘Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin’ (1991), ‘Saajan’ (1991), ‘Deewana’ (1992) and ‘Rang’ (1993) to name a few.
