‘Munnabhai 3’ to commence after Dutt biopic

BizAsiaLive.com reported not long ago that ‘Munnabhai 3’ is on its way and expected in 2018. Sanjay Dutt has now confirmed that he will be working on the film after his biopic is done with.

“We have a concept in place already. Raju and Mr Chopra are working on the script. We’ll start ‘Munnabhai 3’ immediately after the biopic wraps up. I’m also looking forward to that film because it’s extremely special for me,” said Dutt, according to TOI.

When asked whether he felt any pressure about the third instalment, Dutt replied, “Mr Chopra doesn’t give a go-ahead to any project till he is fully satisfied. There have been talks for a while now, but I understand why Raju and he aren’t hurrying. They want to better ‘Lage Raho’ standards, which will take a lot of effort. Agreed, that it’s a franchise that people will love to see every year but practically, we can’t do that because we have to have a solid story. And cracking that takes a while.”

Arshad Warsi will also be reprising his role in ‘Munnabhai 3’.
