‘Munna Michael’ to be first Indian release in Russia for 20 years

No Bollywood films have released in Russia for 20 years and BizAsiaLive.com can confirm that this will change with Tiger Shroff starrer ‘Munna Michael’.

Confirming the film’s release in Russia, Kumar Ahuja, President Business Development, Eros International told Mid-Day, “We are happy to announce the release of Munna Michael in Russia. The film has mainstream appeal that transcends language and geographical boundaries”.

A source also informs that Shroff and his father Jackie are popular in the country, “Moreover, Russians have always been drawn to Michael Jackson. For the production house, it was a well-calculated move to venture into an untapped market”.
