Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi created comedy gold ‘Munna Bhai M.B.B.S’ (2003) before reuniting for ‘Lage Raho Munna Bhai’ (2006). Ever since then, fans have been eagerly waiting for the third film of the franchise.
Even though the duo have appeared in other comedies, fans couldn’t stop asking them about the ‘Munna Bhai’ franchise, reports Mid Day. That said, Dutt and Warsi are all set to reunite for another comedy away from the ‘Munna Bhai’ franchise.
In an interview with Times Of India, Warsi spoke about this film and gave out some details about the plot. “Sanju and I will start working on a film next year. It’s a crazy script, a project by Sajid Farhad. The film is likely to go on floor by March-April next year. We’ll probably head to Budapest for the first schedule of the film.”
He added, “Sanju plays the role of a blind don. I am his eyes. The challenge is that nobody can know that he is blind, and I cannot tell anyone that he is blind. I am actually directing him throughout the film. It’s quite a fun script.”
Currently, Dutt is busy with ‘Pagalpanti,’ where he will be seen opposite Urvashi Rautela and also teaming up with John Abraham, Pulkit Samrat, and Anil Kapoor. The film is all set to release on 22nd November.
