Mumbai Police issues second summons to Kangana in Sushant case

Despite claiming to have some insight into the cause of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, Kangana Ranaut’s team has not made it easy for the police to get in contact with her. After trying to serve the actress summons at the beginning of the month for her to record a statement, where it was refused, it has issued a second one to where she is staying in Manali.

According to Times Now News, the Mumbai police issued its first summons at her office on 3rd July. However, with the actress having been absent where her team refused to give any contact details, the police then connected with Ranaut’s sister Rangoli who also refused to give any contact details. Instead, Ranaut’s sister told the police to either send a team to Manali where she was staying or send a questionnaire in which the actress will fill out. Hence a second summons for the actress to issue a statement has been issued.

Ranaut’s team claimed that there had been no formal summons issued in the first place and instead Ranaut’s sister had only a few casual conversations with the police.

With the investigation still ongoing, the police is treating Rajput’s case as ‘suicide’ and trying to gather as much information as possible.
