Mumbai Cricket Association lifts Shah Rukh Khan’s Wankhede ban

Mumbai Cricket Association has decided to lifted the ban on Shah Rukh Khan entering the Wankhede Stadium.

The superstar was banned from entering the venue in May 2012 after a falling out and altercation with a security guard in May 2012. The incident took place following an Indian Premier League game between Kolkata Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians.

The ban was due to be lifted in 2017. However the MCA has ended the ban two years prior to the official date. Apparently, the MCA believes that SRK has already served a substantial period of it (three years) ‘respectfully’ without trying to enter the stadium at any stage.
