Multi Screen Media to launch Sony Pal?

With Multi Screen Media launching Sony MAX 2, the company is planning to launch its second general entertainment channel, tentatively titled Sony Pal.

The new channel is expected to be available in India from August. It will complement flagship channel, Sony Entertainment Television Asia with original shows.

There were rumours earlier of Amitabh Bachchan’s show ‘Yudh’ launching on Sony Pal but the show will now launch on Sony TV in June.

The company is yet to officially release details on its new channel.
