‘MSG’ release put on hold

This weekend’s release ‘Messenger Of God’ (MSG) has been put on hold due to a ruling by the Indian censor board.

The film starring Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh is reportedly promoting blind faith and superstition hence a certificate has been refused by CBFC.

CBFC member Nandini Sardesai told Mumbai Mirror, “All seven members agreed that in its entirety, this film cannot be shown as it not only promotes blind faith and superstition, but also hurts religious sentiments and could cause communal problems.”
