Mrunal Thakur has had a good short run of films since she made her debut on the big screen. News has it that her next project will see her opposite Ayushmann Khurrana.
The film in question is thought to be ‘Stree Rog Vibhaag’ by Junglee Pictures, which Khurrana is expected to begin after the lockdown is over. A source explained to Filmfare, “The makers were looking at someone to essay the female lead’s part opposite Ayushmann. They wanted a girl who could look convincing carrying off a completely desi character. They were indeed in talks with Bhumi Pednekar and Alaya F, but we hear things didn’t materialise with them. Now, they have roped in Mrunal Thakur for the role and she has also given her nod to the project”.
Khurrana has built a reputation for being an actor who is seen in pathbreaking cinema and no doubt this film will be no different.
