Sony SAB TV has decided to put an end to Shekhar Suman’s comedy chatshow ‘Movers and Shakers’ after it proved to be disappointing in the ratings.

Producer Vipul Shah from Optimystix played down reports that the show had been axed, instead he said that the show was taking a break and would return for season two later.

When asked to comment on the lower ratings, Shah told TellyChakkar, Channel was quite happy with the average 0.6-0.7 TVR and we even touched 1 at times. Furthermore, on the face humour, satire and personal jokes were not part of regular SAB family comic fare so they were happy with these above numbers at the late night slot and hence mostly the show will also return with the same title sponsor. This also reflects that the market is also happy with the response.۝
