Mouni Roy’s ‘London Confidential’ & ‘Abhay 2’ lead new offerings on ZEE5

ZEE5 Global has announced its new slate of content for the month of September, which includes a musical by AR Rahman, original movie ‘London Confidential’ and the upcoming season of thriller ‘Abhay 2’.

Starting with a ZEE5 musical drama ‘Atkan Chatkan’ presented by the Mozart of Madras, AR Rahman that is set to premiere on 5th September. The film will essay the role of some of the finest talents from India, including Indian percussionist Sivamini and classical pianist wonder boy Lydian Nadhaswaram.

Among the Originals, Mouni Roy and Purab Kohli starrer ZEE5 Original Movie ‘London Confidential’ is set to release on 18th September. Directed by former journalist-turned-author Hussain Zaidi, this spy thriller will narrate the story of two undercover RAW agents stationed in London in the post-pandemic era.

Among the highly anticipated digital releases this month are Kunal Khemu, Ram Kapoor and Chunky Pandey starrer ‘Abhay Season 2’ – Chapter 2 releasing on 4th September and Chapter 3 releasing on 29th September. Meanwhile, Kushal Tandon starrer ZEE5 Original Bebaakee is now streaming its latest episodes.

Newly launched streaming vertical Zindagi will also feature engaging TV shows including ‘Dhoop Chaon’, ‘Kahi un Kahi’, ‘Shehr E Zaat’, ‘Badi Aapa’, ‘Maat’ among others.

Set to launch pilot on 7th September, another exciting Bangla TV show ‘Pandav Goyenda’ is a story inspired by the writings of the iconic Bengali novelist Sasthipada Chattopadhyay. The storytelling will be pacey, high-energy and edgy, as it’s set on five high IQ teen detective gang who solve mysteries in the city of Kolkata.

With a list of curations, ZEE5 is also ready to celebrate the special occasion of Mahalaya on 17th September with the grand premiere of the legacy music reality show ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Bangla 2020’.
