Mouni Roy to play a negative role in ‘Brahmastra’?

The viewers favourite ‘Naagin’, Mouni Roy will be making her Bollywood debut later this year in Reema Kagti’s ‘Gold’ where she will be seen alongside Akshay Kumar. But not only that, Roy has even managed to secure her second film in Ayan Mukerji’s, ‘Brahmastra’.

Reported on Mid-day, ‘Gold’ is currently in post-production, so it won’t be long before Roy starts preparing for ‘Brahmastra’. The cast ensemble comprises of Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. Based on a fantasy drama, this will be the first instalment of what will be a trilogy that is slated to release in 2019.

It has been said that Roy will be essaying a negative character whilst Kapoor and Bhatt, who are romantically linked in the film, will be playing the role of superheroes.

The ‘Devon Ka Dev Mahadev’ star is off to a flying start with her Bollywood career. Speaking about her success, rumoured beau Mohit Raina shares how proud he is of her achievement so far. “There’s a lot of factors that have brought us in a different place where we have immense mutual respect towards each other. As for me, I really have a lot of pride for what she is doing in her career and winning laurels for herself.” Raina further adds, “Also, who wouldn’t want his name linked to a film actress, it always works in favour (laughs).”
