Mouni Roy: “I am never leaving TV”
With the release of ‘Gold’ (2018), Mouni Roy’s career in Bollywood is just starting but the actress is still open to returning to television.
“I am never leaving TV. I am a very proud television actor and it has given me everything and has made me who I am today. So I have extreme love and regards for television.”, Roy told DNA.
Roy also shared that apart from being less tiring, working in film isn’t much different from TV, “Only the medium is different. Here the character playing is for shorter months, while over there (for television) you have to do it for atleast a year. Also that movies have songs!”
‘Gold’ released on 15th August and stars Roy opposite Akshay Kumar. Her upcoming film releases include ‘RAW (Romeo Akbar Walter)’, ‘Made In China’ and ‘Brahmastra’.
