More4 schedules Bollywood films this Christmas

In a first for the mainstream channel, More4, the digital TV channel from Channel 4, will be broadcasting a string of Bollywood movies around Christmas.

Starting with Christmas Day on Saturday, More4 has scheduled the blockbuster Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Kabhi Alvida Na Kenha’ at 17:15. The Karan Johar hit movie, which centered around extra marital affairs will be the first Bollywood movie on the channel.

Then on Sunday (Boxing Day), More4 will broadcast two movies including the award-winning ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ by Danny Boyle at 21:05, followed with ‘Krrish’ starring Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra at 23:25.

‘Slumdog Millionaire’ will repeat again on Tuesday 28th December at 22:10, then Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Black Friday’ at 00:30.

Earlier this week,��BizAsia.co.uk��reported that Sky Movies will be premiering ‘My Name Is Khan’ in the UK in January.
