More new movies on the way to ZEE Network

With the acquisition of over twenty movies, which have
been screened over the past four months, ZEE Network
have secured a further eight, to which we gave details
about last week.

The movies being screened on ZEE Network UK are Ankhion
Se Goli Maare, Yeh Kaisi Mohabat Hai, Mittr and 16th
December, Maseeha, Leela, Makdee and Agni Varsha. ZEE TV
India president Apurva Purohit told the Hindustan
Times: “More than anything else, it was the factor of
recentness that has generated the buzz for the
premieres.”

Although Purohit declined to reveal the cost of these
acquisitions, but sources add that the cost of
acquisition has been close to Rs 5 core.
