A global lockdown was imposed in the month of March because of the Coronavirus outbreak. As a result, the shooting of TV shows was stopped. But now that the process of unlockdown has begun, the TV shows are going on-floors again with various safety and precautionary measures.

Recently, Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi aka Kartik and Naira from Star Plus’ ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ (YRKKH) resumed shooting and were happy with the kind of precautions and safety measures producer Rajan Shahi and his Directors’ Kut Production (DKP) took. In a video, the lead stars have thanked them for providing a safe environment to work in.

In the video Mohsin talks about the arrangements on the sets and said, “This video goes out to Rajan Shahi sir, our producer the entire production team, the entire DKP team, the entire staff, who are staying here on the set, they are doing everything here. When we actors come on the sets, they check our body temperature, oxygen level, and they sanitize every room and the entire set two-three times a day. So this is an appreciation video to thank all you guys for being extra careful and doing their extra bit and following all the protocols. We actors want to thank the entire crew, the production, and the producer. Inshallah, this virus will go away soon from the world, and we can get back to the normal shooting but till then we will fight this out. God Bless.”

Shivangi, in her video said, “As you all know we have resumed shooting for our show YRKKH. I am making this video from the set itself, I am in my makeup room. I just want to thank Rajan sir, our producer, and Director’s Kut Production house for taking such utmost care not only for us but for the entire crew. We have thermal and pulse checking, the entire set is sanitized in every three to four hours, makeup rooms are so clean and it is also sanitized every three hours. We have been given personal makeup kit. And in every room, there is a sanitizer bottle, disinfectant sprays, we have been given personal chair with our names labelled. The set is super clean, the toilets are very clean and there are dustbins everywhere, everyone wears mask and face shield, all the protocols are being followed properly. We all are taking all the safety measures and I just want to thank Rajan sir for making us feel super safe and secure.”
