Mohit Suri will not direct ‘Aashiqui 3’?

Mohit Suri struck the right chord when he directed ��Aashiqui 2�۪ (2013) and he became one of the industry�۪s most sought after directors. However, it seems he will not be taking the franchise forward and will not be directing the third instalment.

According to Filmfare, Bhushan Kumar and Mahesh Bhatt had a meeting with Suri but it didn�۪t go as planned. It is being said that Suri�۪s price hike meant that he had to disassociate with the film.

��Aashiqui 2�۪, which won many awards, starred Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor.
