Mohammad Azharuddin brands press “villain” in Virat-Anushka love story

Back in February we saw the break up of Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, but it seems there are still feelings between the two.

Since the announcement of the split, never has an opportunity been missed by the fans to troll Sharma. Recently after the India vs Australia match, Kohli came to the aid of his ex-girlfriend to stand up against the Twitterati when they took digs at Sharma in saying she did the cricketer a favour by walking out of his life. Kohli took to Instagram and Twitter to publicly ask them to stop bashing Sharma and holding her responsible for his performance.

At a trailer launch for Emraan Hashmi’s upcoming biopic ‘Azhar’, which focuses on the life of Mohammad Azhuraddin, the former cricketer was asked to give advise about the duo’s relationship to which he seems to have blamed the media. Mohammad Azharuddin said, “Press should tackle it better than Virat Kohli. His performance has been outstanding. He should be left alone. Things are true that there is a problem in their relationship and I think that is because of the press.”
