Modern ‘Love Aaj Kal’ for Kartik Aaryan & Sara Ali Khan?

Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Love Aaj Kal’ (2009) was a film that many enjoyed, starring Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles. In recent news, the director could be looking to revamp the story for modern times.

Filmfare reports that Ali has cast Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan for the film. It would see them share the screen for the first time together but also be an interesting combination after Ali Khan admitted to having a crush on Aaryan in a recent chatshow.

Ali Khan will be seen next in ‘Simmba’ which releases next week.
