Model Disha Patani to star with Tiger Shroff in ‘Baaghi’?

Reports are rife that Disha Patani has been signed on to debut opposite Tiger Shroff in his next, ‘Baaghi.’

Patani, a��model, was supposed to��debut in Karan Johar-Ekta Kapoor co-production, ‘Vanity Fair,’ directed by Akshay��Roy, but then��Johar also��chose her for another��production, ‘Dil De, Pyaar De,’ a sex comedy directed by Sonam Nair.

Now, Patani will be debuting in ‘Baaghi,’ a Martial Arts based love story.��A source close to the��film said to Mumbai Mirror, “The film is a high-on-action martial-arts drama, and Tiger will be seen performing his martial-arts skills in the love saga which will open in April 2016.”

Nair and Johar’s film has also��reportedly��been shelved. “Ekta, who was earlier sipposed to co-produce the film has backed out and the project isn’t likely to start anytime soon,” the source adds.

The film was supposed to star Pulkit Samrat as well, who will��instead be doing Bhushan Kumar’s ‘Joonoonyat.’

On the other hand, Nair has said, “My film will start only after we find debutants with the potential to become��tomorrow’s stars. See where the Student of the Year newcomers, Sidharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan, and Alia Bhatt are��today. The hunt is on.”

Only time will tell if this project will see light of day.
