Mo Dutta leaves BBC Radio 2 weekend show

Popular BBC TV and radio personality, Mo Dutta, has left his Radio 2 show after nearly 15 years on the station.

The 38-year old presented the ‘Weekend Early Breakfast Show’ on the station. His last show was aired on Saturday 30th May.

As well as his radio credentials, Dutta has been a familiar face on TV with hit shows such as ‘Big Day Out’, ‘TalkAbout’, ‘Network East’, and ‘Bollywood or Bust’, the Hindi movie quiz show which was the first specialist game show on national television.

Zoe Ball has taken over Dutta’s Radio 2 show, in what seems a move by BBC bosses to spruce up the station’s programme line-up.
