Missy D set for Club Asia return

Popular presenter Missy D will be returning to London’s hit young music station Club Asia in the next few days, BizAsia.co.ukcan reveal.

Missy D left the station’s flagship Breakfast Show last February to pursue other projects. Since then, Jas-The Man moved from his Drivetime slot to takeover the then vacant Breakfast Show.

Our sources said that an announcement of Missy D’s return to the station had been made internally last week and that she could be returning on air within the next fortnight.

Since “leaving” Club Asia, other radio stations have shown interest in Missy D, however it looks like Club Asia have wasted no time to sign, seal and deliver her new contract.

What remains to be seen is whether Missy D will return to her Breakfast slot and if so, what happens to the current Breakfast Show by Jas-The Man. Rumour has it that Club Asia will be revamping its schedule over the next few weeks.

Club Asia recently registered to RAJAR (radio monitoring body) for the first time, so it will be interesting to see an indication of how the station has been performing recently. The results are due out in the first week of February.
