‘Mirza Juuliet’ to give female perspective on love & marriage

There is love and there is marriage, no point confusing one with the other says Rajesh Ram Singh, the director of ‘Mirza Juuliet’. He says the emotions are so strong in the passion of love that it is very difficult to recognize what you are really going through. Perhaps to love or not to love is the biggest confusion for people today!

The wise will always evolve with time, and if there is one thing that people need to understand it is the fact that relationships are changing all around us. The girls are no longer just tied up to another family in the name of marriage, the decision is unanimous and with the consent of the girl… but the big question still remains what the girl wants. In his film ‘Mirza Juuliet’, director Rajesh Ram Singh has attempted to answer just that.

“There was a time that girls were only informed that they are getting married, forget knowing the boy intimately, the girl saw him properly only on the suhagrat and same was the case with the boy. However nowadays the couple meets and interacts a lot more to figure out compatibility before considering marriage. Our protagonist is also someone who is going in for an arranged marriage for the sake of her family but there is a lot that her heart is beckoning her to do. The confusion in her mind, the war between the head and the heart is what Juuliet Shukla is about and I think Pia has done justice to the role beautifully,” expressed Singh.

‘Mirza Juuliet’ – Emotion ka confusion, starring Darshan Kumaar, Pia Bajpai, Priyanshu Chatterjee, Swanand Kirkire, and Chandan Roy Sanyal, is directed by Rajesh Ram Singh and is a story of strong emotions and above all a mixed confusion of all these emotions.

Shemaroo & Green Apple Media presents in association with Falansha Media Pvt Ltd production, ‘Mirza Juuliet’. The film is produced by Neeraj Kumar, Burman, Ketan Maru and Amit Singh and is slated to release on 7th April, 2017.
