Mira Rajput Kapoor on rumours of making acting debut

Over the past few months, Shahid Kapoor’s wife Mira Rajput Kapoor has been linked to a debut in Bollywood but there hasn’t been much comment from the Kapoor clan – until now.

Talking about the rumours, Mira was cited in Deccan Chronicle saying, “Acting is a very difficult art and I am not sure right now if I have it in me. Currently, my main focus is Misha.”

Asked how she felt about the new found fame since marrying Shahid, she said, “Earlier it was all new so it was a bit strange when they used to click me all the time, but now I guess I’ve got used to it since that’s something that comes along with being the wife of a movie star, I guess!”

Previously, Shahid said, “It’s not my decision what Mira does, it’s completely hers. I read something about Mira, so far Misha has not been offered any work and I am happy about that as she is just nine months old. As far as Mira is concerned, she will do what she feels like doing. I don’t need to interfere. She is her own person and takes her own decisions. Whatever she decides to do, I will be supportive and happy.”
