Mika Singh to headline Star Parivaar Live 2014

Mika Singh has been confirmed as the headline act for this year’s Star Parivaar Live taking place in May, BizAsia can confirm.

Singh will perform in the UK for the first time. His UK tour last year was cancelled due to “renovations” at the venue. Singh is behind some of the most successful songs recently including ‘Gandi Baat’ from ‘R…Rajkumar’, ‘Agal Bagal’ from ‘Phata Poster Nikla Hero’ and ‘Pungi’ from ‘Agent Vinod’. He will be accompanied by some of Indian television’s biggest stars as the broadcaster lines up actors from its popular shows to appear live at Wembley Arena.

So far, BizAsia understands Gautam Rode (Saras) from ‘SaraswatiChandra’ will be the host of the event. Hina Khan (Akshara) from ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ is also expected to be one of the big stars lined-up to meet her UK fans.
