Mihir Bose takes new job at Evening Standard

Former BBC sports news editor Mihir Bose has joined London’s Evening Standard paper as a contributor.

Bose, who resigned from the BBC last month, will write a weekly interview with a prominent sporting personality.

“We are absolutely delighted that Mihir will be writing regularly for the paper and be bringing his incisive and brilliant writing to the sports pages,” said the Evening Standard managing editor, Doug Wills.

Bose, a former Daily Telegraph journalist, joined the BBC in January 2007 as its first sports news editor.
