ARY Digital’s controversial hit show ‘Meray Paas Tum Ho’ may be returning for a sequel, if writer Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar’s hints are to be trusted.
As a guest on ‘Bakhabar Savera’ on ARY News, Qamar expressed his gratitude to the fans and cast of ‘Mere Paas Tum Ho’, adding that “I normally do not write sequels for my dramas, but I may think of a sequel for this one.”
Qamar has been criticised for spreading his misogynistic ideas through the show and interviews, with several industry insiders and even some cast members publicly disassociating themselves from him.
