Mehwish Hayat not a part of Pakistan Super League 5
The fifth season of Pakistan Super League is weeks away from opening, and several celebrities have been rumoured to perform at the ceremony, including Mahira Khan, Mehwish Hayat, Ali Azmat, Asim Azhar, Arif Lohar and Haroon. PSL 5 organisers have not revealed the official list yet, but Hayat has shared that she will not be a part of the festivities this year.
Hayat cleared the air on Twitter, “Just to clarify, contrary to media reports I can confirm that unfortunately I will not be singing any songs or performing at the PSL opening ceremony this year. Thank you for all the love and let’s all enjoy the feast of cricket that PSL will bring!”, HIP in Pakistan reported.
The opening ceremony of PSL 5 will take place on 20th February at National Stadium in Karachi.
