Actor Mikhael Kantroo who is seen playing Luka in the well received Voot Select’s thriller series ‘Candy’, is humbled on receiving praises from audiences and critics. Helmed by director Ashish R Shukla, it also stars Richa Chadha, Ronit Roy, Manu Rishi Chadha and others.
His character is receiving praise from all over and now Mikhael is looking forward to play something interesting and shared,”I want to be open minded. When I read a script I’m curious about the entire world that the writer has created not just my character. I’m attracted to characters that take the story forward, that’s my primary objective.”
When asked on about the success of the show and his character being so impactful he said,”I think that Candy has created an impact, the world of Rudrakund has made an impact and therefore Luka has evoked curiosity in the minds of the viewer. Can Gabbar be feared if you’re not invested in Thakur, Jai or Veeru? A character gets attention only when the story facilitates it.”
“Early days yet, power of choice is the greatest privilege for an actor,” added debutante actor Mikhael Kantroo.
Sharing about with whom he wishes to work in future he said,” I wish to work with good people who’re professional and driven by the desire to excel. It doesn’t matter to me if they’re commercial or not.”
